First day back…We are now entering our third hour of autistic rage—this is not for the faint of heart. Please extend patience, kindness, and love to a parent supporting a child with autism. We need love and support more than we will ever say…I have so much to do after she calms down this is why I collapse at night.Autistic rage is an intense, emotional outburst, similar to a meltdown.

Autistic rage is very similar to a meltdown, it’s an intense and emotional outburst. It differentiates from a meltdown, in the way of it’s a lot of anger, short fuses and sometimes very aggresive. As where a melt down isn’t so much short fuses, anger and aggresivness, it’s more emotional feelings like crying because you don’t know something or can’t handle something.
