🌪️ UPDATE FROM THE UPSIDE-DOWN 🌪️

If you’ve looked outside lately, you’ve probably noticed Indiana has apparently entered its Wizard of Oz era.

Tornado watches. Tornado warnings. Sideways rain. Patio furniture applying for frequent flyer miles.

Meanwhile, we’re over here preparing for our BIG PURGE SALE on Saturday, June 27 like nothing is happening.

We’ve been digging through the warehouse, storage, corners, nooks, crannies, and possibly a few dimensions not recognized by modern science. The goal? Move. A. Ridiculous. Amount. Of. Stuff.

If a tornado does carry something away, we’re hoping it starts with the boxes we’ve been trying to price for three months.

Somewhere between “functional storage” and “Victorian villain’s secret wardrobe” sits this absolute beast.

84 inches tall. Solid. Gorgeous burl wood panels. More character than half the people on reality TV.

Imagine being built over 100 years ago and still showing up looking this good.

Need a pantry? Linen cabinet? Clothing storage? Place to dramatically swing open two giant doors while announcing important family news? This cabinet is ready.

Bonus: it breaks down for moving, because even antiques know nobody wants to wrestle an 84-inch cabinet down a staircase.

🐰🎩 LOCAL RABBIT UNDER INVESTIGATION

We found this vintage rabbit and frankly, he’s raising more questions than answers.

Top hat.
Pocket watch.
Mysterious blue vessel.
A donkey standing silently behind him like he’s been subpoenaed.

This isn’t an Easter decoration.

This is a scene.

The rabbit appears to be explaining to authorities that he was nowhere near the missing carrots, while the donkey stands in the background trying very hard not to make eye contact.

“Sir, where were you on the night of the Great Garden Incident?”

Rabbit: checks pocket watch “Depends who’s asking.”

Donkey: 👀

The longer you look at this piece, the more it feels like you’re interrupting a conversation you absolutely should not be hearing.

Perfect for holding pens, makeup brushes, or secrets.

Just in at Upstairs Basement: the most aggressively specific figurine we’ve ever seen.

No one knows what that goose said.
No one knows what happened five minutes earlier.
What we DO know is Grandma has reached her limit.

Kids on the lawn? Fine.
Taxes? Fine.
The Great Depression? Fine.
One more honk from that goose? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

This figurine captures the exact moment a sweet little old lady transformed into a feathered-fowl management specialist.

Somewhere in the distance, another goose is whispering:
“Frank… don’t make eye contact.”

Some furniture screams for attention. This piece just quietly stands in the corner looking cooler than the rest of us.

Mid-century vibes, clean lines, warm wood tones, and enough hidden storage to swallow mail piles, craft supplies, charging cords, board games, or whatever chaos currently lives on your countertops.

Customer photos are basically our love language. 🖤

Nothing makes us happier than seeing a treasure leave Upstairs Basement and immediately start living its best life.

Case in point: THIS cabinet.

Look at her. Not sitting in a warehouse. Not squeezed between a treadmill and a pile of Amazon boxes. No. She has arrived. She has a wall color that complements her. She has plants. She has art. She has purpose.

This beauty found the perfect home, and honestly, we’re a little emotional about it.

When you send us photos of your Upstairs Basement finds all settled in, it’s like getting a postcard from a former foster child who’s thriving. 🥹
