🐾 WAITING ON A HOME WEDNESDAY: MEET YAMI! 🐾

It is Wednesday, which means it’s time to shine our spotlight on an absolute sweetheart at the shelter who is searching for her forever family. Meet Yami! 🐶✨

Look at those absolutely stunning eyes! Yami is a 3-year-old, medium-sized Husky mix who weighs 47 lbs of pure love and silver fluff. She is the ultimate play-loving adventurer, but she is also a phenomenal, attentive listener. If you love a dog with a fun personality, you will adore her—she loves to "chat" and vocalize her happiness to her human friends! 🗣️

Best of all? She is wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a perfect fit for almost any loving home. Her adoption fee is just $65! If you want to bring this gorgeous girl into your life, give the shelter a call at (828) 524-4588 to set up a meet-and-greet! 📞❤️

We just put out a special donation of adult underwear and briefs to help our sweet Franklin community! We have brand-new packs from Prevail, FitRight, and McKesson available in Size Medium.

We know how heavily these necessary items can impact a family's budget. Because of that, we are selling them for just $4 a pack so we can pass that support directly to those who need it most.

First, a huge shoutout to everyone who has been dropping off goodies lately. We are so incredibly blessed by your support! Because you all brought us so much over the last week, our wonderful volunteers are working their fingers to the bone getting it all out on the floor. 🧵💪

To let our team catch up, we are taking a brief pause on clothes. We will NOT be accepting clothing donations tomorrow (Thursday). We hope to open the clothing doors right back up this Saturday morning!

📦 We ARE still accepting all other donations tomorrow from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM! Books, home goods, kitchenware, and furniture are all welcome!
