Installed this piece today. The center is a piece of reclaimed metal work that we framed and built out in alder before clear coating the entire thing, metal and all.

Installed this built in today. The existing TV, outlets, thermostat and switches made this piece difficult, but everything lined up.
Piece is made from knotty alder, stained early American and finished with several coats of spray lacquer.

Finished and installed this beautiful island top this week. The top is 4.5 feet wide and 10 feet long. It's made it solid hard maple with true bread board ends for a functional, solid farmhouse look and it's finished in Rubio monocoat for a natural feel that still protects.

Installed this beautiful set of white oak countertops.
Tops are finished in Rubio monocoat in Castle Brown which gives them a nice, protective coat without the plastic feel of most finishes.

A couple years ago I built the desk on the left for a local auto shop. They're expanding their staff and contacted me about doing a matching piece, and I delivered the one on the right this week. It's great to see local businesses expanding and wonderful that they continue to trust us with their furniture needs even after using the piece for years in a commercial setting.

Finished up and delivered this beautiful outdoor table on Friday.
The table is done with traditional, pinned, mortise and tenon joinery with a sliding dovetail on the top to keep it flat and hold the boards in plane.
The base is done with double, wedged mortise and tenon joinery for the trestle legs and tusked mortise and tenons for the stretcher.
The whole table is finished in super deck clear coat which provides rot protections above and beyond the natural rot resistance of Western Red Cedar, but doesn't include UV protection so the piece will gracefully age to a beautiful, shiny gray over the next several months, which the clients requested to match their home.

Finished up this nice little cabinet with a slide out tray and new dining table top for an airstream travel trailer.
This will add some much needed storage and a beautiful, solid wood touch to the interior.

Some clients of mine purchased this table from a craft show years ago, and years later, I was commissioned to built a new base for it and refinish the top. About 6 weeks ago these clients decided to rearrange their furniture and this table turned 90 degrees in that process and no longer fit, so I was called in again, this time to shorten it from 8 feet to 7 feet.

When you buy something custom, or craftsperson made, you get a piece that can alter through the years to meet your current needs and wants. Both times this piece has been in my shop we've changed it in a way that normally requires purchasing something new, and both alterations were less expensive than new.

I imagine as the years go by we'll alter this again, maybe it'll need to be longer again, or more narrow, or turned into two square tables, but whatever that change is, we can make it happen so that this table doesn't end up in a landfill to make room for another table that will only fit their needs and their aesthetic temporarily.

Installed this 2 seat dining table. Table top is Osage Orange which we milled. Voids are filled with a custom epoxy color, chosen by the client.

This is not only the first Osage Orange tree we've milled, it's the first I've even seen in Macon county. I was told that the density of the wood made it difficult to work. That was an understatement, but I'm very pleased with the results.
