I just wanted to get on here to educate those who may not know about this!
Down below are candles you SHOULD NOT buy! Yes they smell so good, yes they hold fragrance great. & yes they’re cheap (for the most part).
I will also post candles you SHOULD buy bc these brands may be more expensive but they’re more expensive for a reason!! 💕💕💕
As someone who started recently making candles, I’ve done research for years before I started making them. Paraffin wax is toxic for not only the environment but also your home, you, children, & pets! These big brand companies don’t even advertise their products properly! “Soy blend” typically means paraffin wax with a HINT of soy wax. They don’t tell you what wax they use in their candles because they don’t want you to stop buying their products because they make millions from you!
I used to go to bath & body works & Walmart to buy candles, I loved them. But I stopped buying them because I learned how toxic they can actually be for myself & my family.
This post is not to degrade these big name companies or persuade people to buy my candles but rather to educate people that buying hand made or even making your own candles is WAY better for you (plus a lot of fun if you choose to make them!)
