As school starts tomorrow in the Washington Parish School System, we wish everyone a safe, prosperous and happy school year. To all the students, strive hard and do your best. You are the next generation. To the class of 2027, enjoy your senior year, make memories and cherish them. A big thank you to all the teachers and support staff for choosing to help all of the children in this valuable and important part of their life.
Also everyone please slowdown, take a little extra time, watch for our precious children as the school zones will be busy.

Louisiana has expanded the times that licensed retailers can sell fireworks! Here are the statewide sales periods:

🎭 Mardi Gras
🗓 Tuesday before Mardi Gras through Mardi Gras Day

🇺🇸 Memorial Day
🗓 Tuesday before Memorial Day through Memorial Day

🎆 Independence Day
🗓 Fourth of July sales season

🇺🇸 Labor Day
🗓 Tuesday before Labor Day through Labor Day

🧑‍🎄 Christmas season

🎉 New Year’s
🗓 New Year’s sales season

Our fireworks season has come to a close. We thank God for helping us through this season. I would like to thank everyone that supported us this season. A big thank to the great staff that went above and beyond to get the job done. We hope to see everyone next season. MAY GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!!!!
