It’s the little things 🥹🩷

Finally got around to changing the sign in the window!

Seeing “Grand Opening - Sept. 12” written there honestly made me stop for a second. This has been such a crazy journey, and we’ve had SO many ups, downs, setbacks, late nights, hard work and “what the heck are we doing” moments. 😂

But we’re getting there. 🥴🤪

The new Corn Crib Boutique is coming to life, one little detail at a time.🩷

Saturdayyyy🤪

Y’all… I LEFT MY PHONE AT HOME TODAY 🙃🤣 So if you tried to reach me, I was living my best life completely disconnected!

We played HOOKY from working on Corn Crib today and headed to Carlisle Truck Nationals instead! You know me… I LOVE the smell of burning tires, and the diesel smoke is just an added bonus I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

We got up at the crack of dawn, headed to Truck Nationals, and we JUST got home! What a DAYYYYY y’all! 🥴🤣

If you or your man likes trucks, 10/10 recommend going! I’ve been going for YEARSSSS and somehow it just keeps getting better and better every year!

BUTTTT… can we talk about my sunburn?! 🫣🤣 It was HOT as all get out today and I had NO IDEA I was getting absolutely COOKED until about 6 hours later. 🥵☀️

Just look at my little raccoon eyes 🤣🤣🤷🏻‍♀️
Apparently I thought sunscreen was optional today. 🫠

Now excuse me while I recover from my day of playing hooky before we get back to work on Corn Crib tomorrow.. maybe 🤣🫣

✨ Time for a little reintroduction! ✨

It’s come to my attention that some people are confused… or just don’t know who I am. 🤣 So I figured it was time to introduce myself again!

Hey y’all! I’m Tahler, the owner of Corn Crib Boutique! 🌽🤍

Before owning Corn Crib, I worked alongside Jessica for about 5–6 years. I didn’t travel a ton with her, but I did the Farm Show once and the Frederick Fair quite a few times! I absolutely fell in love with the boutique life, and owning my own boutique has always been one of my biggest dreams. I’m beyond thankful that Jess trusted me to carry on the Corn Crib legacy she built. It truly means the world to me. ❤️

Now for a fun fact that a lot of people don’t know… I actually work a full-time job at an auto repair shop! 🔧🚗 And yes… my boss is the one from the viral sign-stealing video. 🤣🤣

I’ve been around cars my entire life, thanks to my dad, and they’ve always been a huge part of who I am. One of my biggest dreams was owning my very own 1970 Chevelle, and I finally made that dream come true. I guess you could say I wanted to be just like my dad. ❤️

When I’m not at the shop, you’ll usually find me at Corn Crib, hanging out with y’all, unpacking new arrivals, or convincing myself that I don’t need to buy every cute thing that comes in. 😂

Thank y’all for supporting this crazy dream of mine. Whether you’ve been here since Jessica owned Corn Crib or you just found us, I’m so thankful you’re here. I can’t wait for this next chapter and for y’all to see everything we’ve been working so hard on! 🌽🛍️🤍

I truly don’t even have the words to explain how much this means to me. I am FOREVER grateful for every single customer, supporter, friend, family member, and person who has walked through those doors, placed an order, shared a post, told a friend, or simply cheered me on. 🥹🫶🏼

Y’all mean THE WORLD to me. Without YOU, I wouldn’t be here doing what I absolutely LOVE every single day. ❤️

Y’all, I know I’ve posted a few times about how thankful I am for Colby, but I truly don’t think I could ever say it enough.🩵

This man has been the BEST through ALL of this. Not only is he dealing with all the work at Corn Crib, but he also has to deal with ME through all the good, the bad, the stress, the tears, the chaos… ALL OF IT 🤣🥴

We really do love doing life together. He’s my best friend, my biggest supporter, and my man. 🥹❤️

The other night, after working a 24 HOUR SHIFT, he came straight to Corn Crib and worked ALL DAY… and then, because apparently we haven’t spent enough time at Lowe’s lately 🤣, we had to make our billionth trip there. On the way home, this poor man was OUT. 🥹😂

Bless his heart. I don’t know how I’ll ever be able to thank him enough for everything he does for me and for Corn Crib. Every once in a while I try to make up for it with a surprise truck part or something 🤣 because apparently that’s my love language. 😂

He is genuinely one of the kindest, most patient, sweetest and most loving souls. God really blessed me with this man. 🩷

AND can we talk about how he absolutely KILLED IT?! 👏🏼🔥 He’s got Corn Crib back up, put together and READY for the BIG MOVE IN LESS THAN 72 HOURS! 🤩🥳

I love you, Colby. Thank you for doing this crazy life with me. ❤️

Now somebody PLEASE get this man a vacation after all this because he deserves it. 😂🥹🩷

TRUCK NATIONALS IS THIS WEEKEND YALLLLL!!🔥

Which means Colby has officially entered “I gotta get my truck ready” mode 🤣🤣

So naturally, I brought my office outside so I can keep him company while he works on it 😂🤷🏼‍♀️ Gotta support the man AND supervise a little bit 😉😂

MONDAY FUN FACT OF THE DAY 🤍

Did you know I used to work at Corn Crib for a little while and even set up my hat bar there ?

When I found out Corn Crib was opening here, I was beyond excited. I remember the OG location, and I’ve made the trip to Widespread so many times to support the girls.

This past week has been such a great reminder that, behind every small business, we’re all just people chasing a dream. We celebrate each other’s wins, learn from the setbacks, and continue showing up every single day.

Tahler, I am so incredibly happy for you! I know this journey hasn’t been easy, and you’ve had your share of setbacks, but seeing your dream continue to grow is so inspiring. I can’t wait to watch you succeed in this next chapter.

There is room for all of us to grow, support one another, and build an amazing small business community. That’s what it’s all about. 🤍✨
