We here at Fancy Goat pray that everyone in the community of Fredericksburg and the state of Texas are recovering from the winter storm. Since we have opened a little over a year ago, we have had the goal of starting a non-profit to help in times of need. We currently give a portion of the proceeds of our goat experiences to fund Compassion International, which provides goats to provide milk for families. We also donate to Underground Railroad to help in the fight to end human trafficking. However, we have always wanted to do more and with the recent storm God has lit a fire for us to stop thinking and to start acting. That is why this weekend we are kicking off our goal of starting a non-profit to help in times of need. We are naming it FANCY GOAT CARES. We know it will take some time and hard work to grow to what we want it to be, but you cannot grow unless you start. All that being said, please stop by this Saturday starting at 1 p.m. and going until supplies last for a free shredded bbq chicken slider, chips, and a water. We may not have been ready to help in this recent disaster but in the future, God Willing, we will be ready! Hope to see you Saturday 2/28/21.
