🏠 In our store this week are my Mayapple bowls glazed in a new color – my sky blue glaze which has hints of a light aqua color.

🤚 These are handmade using the slab method and I finish all my pieces in glazes I make myself from recipes I’ve developed over the last few years.

🤔 Working on this new color! Let me know what you think??? It’s a really pretty salmon color. I might have to design something special around this color……

✍️ Just a fun note:
It’ll take me between six months to a year to work on a new color, test it, adjust and decide whether I want to bring it into the collection.

🍃 Working on botanical bowls this week. We have Dogwoods, Sycamores and Mayapples all drying nicely.

These are great individually, but I do love them when the set of three are together. It makes such a great tablescape in your home.

I will be listing these on my Etsy site later this week!

👍 So many of my items can be used multiple ways and I love that! I originally made these items as a small snack plate set. And the other week I had a customer come in and put the two together as a Mother’s Day gift to hold his wife’s jewelry on her nightstand. How thoughtful is that?

🌟 In the studio this week! Espresso mugs and plates for This is the first time I’m making this style of mug for Anita! Can’t wait to see how they do.

🌟 The second item are nesting bowls! This is a special set, custom designed as a one year anniversary home gift that my sister .alegria - who is a realtor in North Carolina- is gifting to each of her clients! How thoughtful is that?

Both these ideas are so true to my philosophy of making every day beautiful!

🌈 I love this color palette! I have been refining these colors for several years and they bring me joy every time I open the kiln!

Here are a few new item hitting today! Small sauce/ ice cream bowls, small breakfast/salad bowls and a fresh wine tumblers!

🇨🇱 🇺🇸 One star for Chile fifty stars for the USA.
It’s been very rewarding to take the time to not only reflect on my family’s story but to take that story and make something from it.

These pieces are still very much so in a state of exploration and I can’t wait to see where this project carries me.

Looking forward to glazing this one and trying something completely different from the first two!
