One thing I love is getting pictures of folks enjoying their dream hammock. Last week I got an extra cute picture of a little guy named Peanut enjoying some hammock time.

It’s no secret that Dream Hammock is a small family business.

Well, over the years that family has been growing! As the little ones are starting to look less little, I wanted to do with my children what my parents did with me - inspire a deep appreciation for the outdoors. After many hours of my son bouncing around in a hammock I hung up for him in the workshop, it became clear to me that I had to make one his size.

Thus, the Chickadee was born.

So, what is the Chickadee? It is a small hammock designed for children between the ages of 3 and 11 years old (i.e. - kids up to 5’ tall). It features a fully sealed integrated net with zippers on both sides. The two facing zipper sliders meet anywhere along the zippers making it easy to get in and out of the hammock on either side.
