Just a little background where Blanco custom saddles started from!
My parents came to the US in the 70/80s and their first job was at a saddle/tack shop in Los Angeles California. They worked at a couple world renowned saddle companies in the 80s-90s and then went to go work for Sergeants Silver Mesa. As far as I can remember, I was always in the saddle shop, after school , my parents would always pick us up and go straight to the shop. My dad built saddles and my mom worked beside him doing strap work and finishing touches. It has been over 20 years since my mom and I have worked beside each other. She was here visiting me last week and she wanted to help! (I said no mom I want you to rest and enjoy your time visiting me) I am honored to be a second generation saddle maker and very thankful for the work ethic and dedication my parents taught me.
