Sorry to anyone who has plans to visit the shop today. Unfortunately, due to Mother Nature dumping buckets of water on everything, The Treasure Chest will be closed. I have some storm / water damage to clean up that requires the relocation of some precious pieces. And with more rain in the forecast I will be keeping an eye on the ceiling for the duration.

Some days I find it extremely hard to bite my tongue... but then I remember that 99% of the people that walk in here aren't rude and arrogant, so I'm just going to brush that 1% off and keep on going about my wonderful day!
In my shop there are little reminders all around that always bring a smile to my face...
Like the 'potted' plant given to me by one of my vendors, or the crock given to me by a dear friend and customer. And just the other day that same dear friend brought me this adorable rose! And don't get me started on the donuts, cookies, peanut butter pie and all the other goodies that everyone spoils me with!
Yep, I've got it good, because I have the best vendors, customers and friends anyone could ask for. 🥰
So when someone in that 1% walks in, insults me and my vendors (but then asks me to come buy their stuff!), I'm just going to let them read my face. 😶
