🪿🌻 ANOTHER GOOSE HAS FOUND HER FOREVER PORCH! 🌻🪿

Well folks, the adoption papers have been signed, the arrangements have been made, and Willa Mae is officially HOME!

Meet Willa Mae, a sunny little lady who firmly believes there is no such thing as too many sunflowers. 🌻

She showed up dressed head-to-webbed-toe in yellow, sporting a sunflower around her neck AND one on her head because, according to Willa Mae, “Darlin’, that’s not excessive. That’s accessorizing.” 😂

She’s sweet, she’s sunny, she’s slightly dramatic, and she’s already prepared to spend her days greeting visitors, watching the neighborhood and keeping a close eye on everybody’s business from her new porch.

Congratulations to Willa Mae and her new goose family! 💛

Another successful adoption from The Rail Yard AKA Porch Goose Adoption Agency where every goose deserves a home…and apparently an entire wardrobe. 😂🪿

The orders have arrived.

Sarge is being deployed. 🇺🇸

He must leave behind his country home… his beloved farm… and the love of his life, Lucy Goosy. 💔

They meet for one final moment before his departure…

Sarge: “Lucy, I need you to be strong.”

Lucy: “I run a farm, Sarge. I’ll be fine.”

Sarge: “Keep an eye on the cattle.”

Lucy: “I always do.”

Sarge: “And don’t forget to check the north fence.”

Lucy: “Sarge…”

Sarge: “And the tractor’s been making a little”

Lucy: “GET ON THE PLANE, SARGE.” 😑

🍎✏️ GERTIE’S GOING BACK TO SCHOOL! 🎒📚

With BOTH of her parents being teachers, Gertie knew she had better show up prepared! 😂

She’s got her backpack packed, pencil sharpened, apple for the teacher, and of course a BIG bow because every good first day of school outfit needs one. 🎀🪿

We have a feeling she’ll be the teacher’s pet, although with two teachers at home, she probably won’t be getting away with much! 🤣
