Saturday August 1 the store will be closed as I will be at Angela's Attic Antique Mall, South Beloit, and in the afternoon, I will be headed to Morris, IL for the unveiling of a 70 Dodge Challenger that was never completed 50 years ago to be raced in Trans Am. The car was built by Dan Gurney/ All American Racers AAR and never finished when Chrysler pulled the plug on the Trans Am Dodge and Plymouth racing program. I was scheduled to race that car.
Sunday August 2 I will be set up at Crystal Lake, IL for the GTR Summer NNL model contest and swap meet. The event opens at 8 am with trophies at noon and the event is at Algonquin Township Building, 3702 US Hwy 14, Crystal Lake, IL
