How to sage (the right way).

I get asked how to do this in my shop almost daily. If you want to actually clear the heavy energy, do these 5 things:
1️⃣ Open your windows. Saging binds to heavy energy and carries it away. Closed windows = trapped energy.
2️⃣ Set your intention. Focus on what you are releasing before you light it.
3️⃣ Blow out the flame. You want a steady, glowing ember—not an active fire.
4️⃣ Cleanse yourself first. "Wash" the smoke over your body to ground your energy first.
5️⃣ Walk counter-clockwise. To banish and remove stagnant energy, move counter-clockwise. Cradle your sage over your abalone shell and use your feather to waft the smoke up and out to transmute it.
