Fremont’s Festival of the Arts is happening this weekend, Aug 1 and 2 on Paseo Padre and Capitol Ave. To celebrate we have our collection of past glasses in the window at the bookshop. Come by and check them out - we are very close to the Festival this year!

We will be open our regular hours this weekend, including our 10:30 am outdoor story time on Saturday - come on by - we would love to see you!

The bookshop was filled with big smiles and lots of banter on Wednesday night! Authors Carmela Dutra (A Murder Most Fowl and Hot Wings and Homicide) and Michelle Chouinard (A Serial Killer’s Guide to San Francisco and A Tour to Die For) not only treated the room to a delightful discussion about their cozy mystery novels, they also brought along amazing cookies baked by Michelle, and a delicious cake designed by Carmela. Thanks Author Carmela Dutra and Michelle Chouinard for making it a super fun night!

Thanks also to everyone who joined us! If you would like to get in on the fun - please stop by the bookshop for a signed copy of one or their entertaining books! You can even preorder Michelle’s upcoming A Map to Murder coming out Sept 22nd!
