DIY Candle Care Tip:
How to Clean the Top of Your Candle 🤍
Have a candle that’s collected a little dust, dirt, or a cloudy “white” look on the top? Don’t worry — it happens!
Because I make clean-burning candles without added stabilizers, they can sometimes show natural changes from their environment.
Farmers markets, especially on dry or dusty days, can leave a little residue behind on a candle surface.
Here’s how to freshen it up at home:
✨ Step 1: Gently wipe the top of your candle with a clean paper towel to remove dust or debris.
✨ Step 2: If you notice a white ring or uneven appearance around the edges, use a heat gun for just a few seconds to lightly warm the surface and help the wax smooth back out.
(Just remember: a little heat goes a long way!)
Your candle is still good — it just needs a little TLC. 🤍
Handcrafted candles are a little different than mass-produced candles… and that’s part of the beauty.
Small batch, clean ingredients, and made with care.
🔥🔥Side note, this candle I will call “Little Miss Amber” and she is ready for a new home! Message me for details. 🐮
Happy Lighting!
