www.bhavanahandlooms.com We focus on preserving and reviving ancient Handloom weaving traditions and promote slow and sustainable fashion; using natural fibers, caring for the earth, encourage fair trade and
traceability. Our collection aspires to be whimsical, contemporary, and classic: wispy cottons with subtle tone on tone shades or unexpected embroidery detail; alongside traditional color combinations in silk paired with neutral pieces. I am Priya- a graduate of NIFT, India (National Institute of Fashion Technology) and FIDM, San Francisco ( Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising). Now, I get to travel all over India in search of ancient weaves, check out the incredible sights, experience the rich heritage, shop for a living, design clothing that blends the ancient and modern; all while being able to prioritize my kids and set my own pace!
