One of the reasons spinnerbaits stay on this time of year is how much water you can cover with them.

W**d edges, cabbage, open water, casting or trolling. You can keep moving until you find active fish.

And when you find the right one, they eat them hard.

Had Corey his brother and dad out on a Casting trip !!!! Always love fishing with these guys. This trip ended on a super high note but it started as a nightmare !!!

After losing 3 fish that were all over 50” and two that were legit giants we managed to still put abunch in the net and get Corey his new PB !!! Which also was a 50”er
After some hooks changed and leader change we landed every fish

A failed leader and no hooks 🪝 on a bait cost us two trophy fish 😞 , as a guide I should of 👀 looked over the gear that was brought on my boat but assumed it was all solid as Corey is a vet and makes great baits.

Hard lesson learned on all our parts let our losses be a reminder to everyone to check over all your gear before you head out this weekend.

Check your 🫵 line your leaders and hooks 🪝 it’s the little things that add up and can land you that whale 🐋

We were🤏 that close to having the most epic casting trip !!!!!

Just a reminder all public ATV trails are currently closed. meaning the access routes are also closed. There have already been a number of complaints of people riding on trails. Once the trails are announced open by the state please adhere to the signage as individual trails may remained closed at the property owners wishes.

The best way to lose a trail system is to operate on it when it’s closed and no respect the land owners.
