Please call Diane at 207-436-7450 for questions!
Probably our final post before the big day tomorrow.
Anyone who wants to help can show up at the park tomorrow 9 ish. Setting tables, putting up the gates....If you want to help park the bikes, be at the park at 1:00.
The ride:
Be at Jenna's helping hand on US 1 (1 mile or so from the park going North) 20 to 30 minutes before 9:00 or 10:00 depending of the ride you choose so Macey Thibeau can have you sign a waiver. Please, please follow the ranks and ride safely. It is no time to show off how fast and powerful your bike is!
The police escorted procession:
Be at the gateway a before 1 so the procession can leave at 1. Again, please, please follow the ranks and ride safely. We have a drone flying over.
The parking:
We will have attendants helping with the parking. NO BIKE IS GOING UP TO THE PARK! Madawaska Finest will be there to oversee and make sure your bikes are safe.... Please respect the neighboring businesses (Larry Beaulieu and Tim Hortons) and do not park in their drive so they can have regular business.
As for cars, the parking along Main street outside the designated bike area is fair game, but please do not block private home's driveway.
Once you get up to the park, Please enjoy the music and mingle. Plenty of bikers who travelled from as far as California will be among us. Meet them, they are our supporters.
Maine-ly Meat and Potatoe will be on site to cook you delicious
food!
DJ Stacie will rock us beginning at 1:00 until 2:30
Jerry T will play a few songs from 2:30 to 3:00
Isaac Leach will take over at 3:00 until 3:45
3:45 to 4:00 Our guest speaker Charles Lamb will be giving a toast!
4:00 to 5:00 Isaac Leach will continue rocking us till 5:00!
We do have a tent, tables and chairs for your convenience but you might want to bring your folding chairs!
We will have a 50/50 and raffle one of Joe's guitar. A PRS valued at $400, a basket full of goodies and a Corn Hole game.
All proceeds for the raffles, sales of merchandise and donation are going to the park. The donations is going into our ""Electrical upgrade as our Center desperately needs it.
And a final thing: The DJ, the band and the free snacks (200 available) are PRIVATELY FUNDED. We are not using the park's funds to pay for that!
