Friday Night Tasting: Wines from Portugal
with w**emakers Jorge Rosa Santos and Rui Lopes from Família Rosa Santos Wines and Lés-a-Lés

The ‘Implicit’ line of w**es to be showcased from the Família Rosa Santos are born from the family’s over five centuries of w**emaking. Produced from vineyards in Portugal’s Southern Alentejo, their w**es are herbaceous, full of character and a lovely expression of the terroir.
Lés-a-Lés is the result of a desire by Jorge Rosa Santos to recover ancient grape varietals and nearly extinct Portuguese w**e styles. Through more than ten years of travel throughout Portugal, literally from “here to there” (Lés à Lés). This joint w**e project with w**emaker Rui Lopes resulted in an exclusive, limited edition collection that summarizes their travels, ideas and the regions, people, and places that were most impactful. Each w**e is a story and travelogue to the deepest Portugal.
