Sometimes the best projects start with a simple question: "Can we turn an Airstream into a Minion?"

The answer was yes.

This quick but unforgettable build brought together talented partners including Experiential Supply Co., 512 Creative, Hale, and more to transform an iconic trailer into a larger-than-life character experience. We love projects that blend craftsmanship, creativity, and a little bit of chaos.

A simple trick for creating durable sand dunes 🏜️

After sculpting the shape in foam and applying a polyurea hard coat, we spray additional layers of polyurea and embed real sand directly into the surface. Build up a few layers, and you get a tough, realistic finish that looks and feels just like a natural sand dune.

But bringing a character like this to life takes a lot more than filling in colors. From highlights and shadows to subtle color variation and texture, every layer helps turn a flat cartoon into something that feels dimensional and real.

Meet Irene from Minions & Monsters, now towering above the iconic Carney's train on Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.

This massive build features 18+ hidden Minions and multiple pneumatic eyeballs that bring Irene to life. A huge shoutout to our team for absolutely crushing this project from start to finish.

Big thanks to Elevue for bringing us on board.
