Finally finished this beautiful shawl. I started it, ahem, back in 2022…. And it waited patiently for me to pick it back up and race to the finish line. It was nearly finished and I have no idea why it was set aside. Probably some New Shiny caught my attention…. Scottish Highlands shawl by Kay Hopkins knit in Whimsical Colors Yak Single. Both this summery pastel or the vibrant bright rainbow (swipe to see). I used the Rock It Tee pattern by Tanis Lavellee, but with 300g and over 1300 yards of fi*****ng weight yarn per set, feel free to use your favorite pattern!

Springtime knitting leads to year round love. This is a in San Juan Summer. I love this yarn! Fi*****ng weight 50% Merino + 50% cotton. I wear these tees multiple times before they need a wash because of the wool content, and yet, they are cool enough for summer wear (or a visit to Hawaii). I have alternated 2 colors of San Juan Summer (Malachite and Rocking Green)
