The future of retail is looking bright. And the numbers back it up.

GGP’s Stonebriar Centre in Frisco and Town East Mall in Mesquite, Texas, both saw visitation increase nearly 3% through the first eight months of 2026. Across our 11 Texas shopping centers, the portfolio is 99% leased.

And the momentum extends well beyond Texas. As recently reported by Bisnow, visits to indoor malls nationwide were up 5% year over year in August, while Green Street reported a 13% surge in mall values.

It's further proof that high-quality shopping centers continue to attract shoppers, retailers, and investors alike. And at GGP, we're committed to keeping great retail in style.

Earlier this month, leaders from across our U.S. portfolio gathered in Chicago for our 2026 GGP Connect Leadership Summit.

The two-day event included team-building activities, cross-department sessions, and our well-loved Tables of 8 conversations, bringing teams together in smaller groups for connection and collaboration. This year we had iO Chicago Improv Team lead a fun Communications Workshop.

We also celebrated our Annual Community Partner Award winners, recognizing property teams who went above and beyond in their local impact efforts.

A huge thank-you to everyone who attended and helped make this year’s conference such a success.

Stonebriar Centre recently welcomed Sukoshi, Edikted, and Aéropostale with grand opening celebrations that brought crowds, music, giveaways, and plenty of energy to the center.
