woke up feelin’ frisky yesterday and decided to redecorate my half bath. scroll for before pics!

all the decor was relocated from elsewhere in my house - that white wicker shelf hung in my Nana’s bathroom for literally decades and is accented with a lifetime’s worth of hairspray lol

the paint is SunBleached Ochre by Sherwin Williams. i had just enough left over from my living room paint job to give this bathroom a passable coat 😊

I’ve gone back in time and picked some bridesmaids from the 60s, 70s, and 80s for you to choose from (and I’m selling you their dresses). Who are you asking to be in your bridal party?

1. Sunny + Peach, a set of sisters from a spring wedding in the 60s. Their matching dresses are adorable, but they can’t stop squabbling. In the midst of their arguing, they each dribble some gravy on their dresses at dinner.
2. Maeve in mauve, a 70s bridesmaid who looks mysterious in her lacey cape, but really comes to life once she sheds it on the dance floor. She looks great, but she starts getting a little too flirty with some of the groomsmen 🫣
3. Candy, an 80s bridesmaid who came prepared with extra bobby pins + AquaNet. She’s fulfilled her bridesmaid duties beautifully, but during the ceremony, nobody can hear the couple’s vows over the smacking of Candy’s chewing gum.
