My Little Itch

My Little Itch Here at My Little Itch, we're passionate about supporting those who are weathering life's storms. Hi, I'm Annie, founder of My Little Itch. We see you.

My two kiddos are my rainbow itch babies, and the inspiration behind everything I do! They're my rainbow babies because they were each born after a miscarriage. And my itch babies because I had a high-risk condition called ICP (Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy) during each of their pregnancies, where the main symptom is itching. Hence, "My Little Itch." All of our bow ties are handmade in the USA. Our piece de resistance is The Rainbow, with a unique design of 6 pieces of fabric sewn together to create the bow. It's a stunning accessory you won't find anywhere else. We also have solid and themed bow ties. Our bow ties are perfect for weddings, LGBTQ+ events, rainbow baby photoshoots, cake smashes, or just because they're your thing. My true passion and the heart of my company lies in telling the stories of those who are weathering life's storms. Those who feel misunderstood. Those whose voices have been suppressed. Here at My Little Itch, we provide a safe space for everyone. We can hold your pain. We can hold your story. We love you. "My Rainbow Story" by My Little Itch provides that safe space. A "Rainbow Story" is a story about you and your life. About your storms. About your quest for a rainbow of hope. And whether you've found your rainbow or not, your story matters. Email me at [email protected] to submit your story to be published on our website. Then join our facebook support group, a sacred space where you can share your stories, your struggles, your wins, and your tears. To further support those going through life's storms, we donate $1 of each sale to a nonprofit charity, or "A Rainbow Cause." And you get to choose which charity! We're so glad you're here! Take a look around our shop and feel free to contact us with any questions or special requests.

I made some new play signs this week for a daycare company. They had specific quotes they wanted, and I love them so much! I wish every daycare and classroom would adopt the idea that play is wildly important for kids, and should always be prioritized.
If you have an idea for a custom design, let's hear it! Custom orders are my favorite!

I had the privilege and honor to make some engraved photos for a sweet momma who lost her beautiful Haven to stillbirth last year. As a loss momma myself, these are my favorite projects to work on. Haven's mom is passionate about sharing Haven's light and love, and I'm so grateful I get to be a part of that. ❤️
Thank you to .co for sharing your love and light with the world, and to for capturing these moments and sharing Haven's story on her blog!

This is my why. These kids right here. They are what motivate me and keep me going. They deserve the world and I plan to give it to them.

Over the past few weeks (let's be honest, years), I've grappled over and over again with what I want my business to look like.

What's my target market? I don't know...anyone who likes what I do.
What's my business plan? Winging it seems to work well enough.
What's my marketing strategy? Um...sell as many amazing things as I can, however I can.
What's my social media plan? Share my cool s**t everywhere.
What's my mission statement? I love making beautiful things for beautiful people. I also love financial freedom.

The only question that I'm 100% sure about is my why. Why do I pour my heart and soul into my business? Because my kids deserve it. They deserve a home where they feel safe and secure. They deserve a momma who works her butt off to provide for them. They deserve to see that their momma is a capable human being who can move mountains. They deserve a momma who is present and engaged while they're awake, and works through the night while they sleep. I do it for my kids.

They are my why. And instead of obsessing about the details of my business plan, promising myself that I'll put myself out there once everything is perfect, today I'm saying screw it. Today I'm allowing myself to be "messy and complicated and afraid and show up anyways (thanks Glennon)." Today I'm putting myself out there. If you're a beautiful person who wants me to make you beautiful things, you're in the right place.

We are raising the confident generation. Giving our kids tools to be able to process and overcome their problems is so important.

Just ask and who have a new song out called "The Affirmations Song" 😂

I can't let October slip by without sharing my rainbows and my babies lost too soon. These two kiddos are my entire life. They have my whole heart. And they're both rainbow babies 🌈.
Before I got pregnant with Elle, I was pregnant with my first baby. All the feels of being pregnant for the first time made me the happiest girl in the world. But I started bleeding at 6 weeks. I went in for an ultrasound and they saw baby's heartbeat and told me to take it easy. But at 8 weeks I lost the baby. It was devastating to say the least. I was lucky enough to get pregnant again fairly quickly. My perfect Elle was born in December of 2016. I got pregnant again in October of 2018. I had ultrasounds at 5 and 7 weeks where we saw a strong healthy baby with a heartbeat. But at our 9 week ultrasound, the tech's face said it all. I'd had a missed miscarriage, and there was no longer a heartbeat. The pain and heartache of that loss was actually a bit heavier than the first. I'd had no warning signs, and now I felt like something was wrong with my body because this had happened twice. When I got pregnant with Charles, I honestly refused to hope for a healthy baby. Getting my hopes up only to have them crushed again was not going to happen. So I went into self protection mode and assumed the worst would happen. And at every appt it seemed like I got bad news that confirmed my fears were going to happen. But they never did. It wasn't until the third trimester that I realized I might actually have a healthy baby. My perfect Charles was born in October of 2019.
For those of you who have experienced the loss of a baby, who have refused to hope for the rainbow, or who are still waiting for that rainbow: I see you. I'm sorry.
