Tuesday of Holy Week is honestly one of the most underrated days of the whole week.

Jesus spent the day in the Temple teaching — and what He said that day was some of the most significant teaching in all of Scripture.

He talked about the future, the destruction of Jerusalem, His return, and what it means to stay faithful when the world feels like it's unraveling.

It was the kind of teaching that stayed with people. The kind that still does.

Ever walked into a place and immediately known something was wrong?

That's what happened when Jesus entered the Temple on Monday morning. He saw worship turned into a transaction — money changers and merchants filling the courts of His Father's house — and He wasn't okay with it. Tables went over.

It's one of the more jarring moments in the Gospels, and it tells us something important about who Jesus actually is. Not passive. Not indifferent. Someone with real conviction about what worship is supposed to be.

So sad to hear that author Maya Angelou has passed away at the age of 86. I enjoyed her books very much.

I have been getting quite a few phone calls from people asking what should they do with their books that they no longer want, since I am no longer in business. Here are a few suggestions:

1) Call your local recruiting office to see if they are taking books for the troops over seas, or if they know of a local group that i9s taking them for the troops, to send in care packages.
2) Call your local Assistant Living/Nursing homes to see if they are taking donations.
3) Check with your local library.
4) If you have children's books, why not donate them to a teacher that is just getting started in teaching
5) Find a home schooling family that might be able to use them
6) Donate to your local Goodwill/Thrift shop.
