🎄 Saving Another Tree Farm’s Legacy 🎄

Today we’re spending time at Lakeside Pines Christmas Tree Farm, helping preserve years of dedication, passion, and hard work.

After facing a health crisis, the owners of Lakeside Pines have made the difficult decision that they can no longer continue growing and providing the beautiful, full Christmas trees that so many families have enjoyed over the years.

We’re honored to be working alongside them to ensure their legacy lives on. Their trees, nurtured with years of care, will continue to bring joy to families and will be featured in our TLC Pre-Cut Christmas Tree Barn this season.

We know these trees hold special memories for many of you, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to help carry on the tradition they started. Thank you to the owners of Lakeside Pines for trusting us with something so meaningful.

🍊🌲 Can you smell the citrus in the air? 🌲🍊

All weekend long, the TLC Boys at Timber Lane Christmas Tree Farm have been hard at work shearing and shaping our beautiful Concolor Fir trees!

One of the things that makes the Concolor Fir so special is its incredible fragrance. Unlike other Christmas trees, the Concolor has a distinct, sweet citrus scent that fills the air as it’s being shaped. It’s one of our favorite signs that another season of growing healthy, beautiful Christmas trees is well underway!

Shearing each tree by hand helps create the full, classic Christmas tree shape that so many families love while also encouraging healthy growth for years to come.

It’s a lot of work, but seeing these trees transform each summer makes it all worthwhile. We can’t wait for you to experience their fresh citrus aroma this Christmas season! 🍊🎄

This year is an extra special one for us!

As we celebrate 250 years of our country, we’re also celebrating 20 years of Timber Lane Christmas Tree Farm! 🎄✨

For the past two decades, we’ve been honored to be a small part of so many family traditions and memories. From choosing the perfect Christmas tree to visiting the Country Store, decorating wreaths, and sharing in the holiday spirit, it’s all been possible because of the amazing support from our community.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to do what we love and to celebrate this milestone alongside the 250th birthday of the United States.

🌲 Behind the Scenes at TLC: Shaping Our Christmas Trees! ✂️

The TLC Boys are back again to show you another important part of what goes into growing a beautiful Christmas tree!

Every year, our trees produce a fresh flush of new growth. While they may look great on their own, they don’t naturally grow into that classic Christmas tree shape.

That’s where we come in!

Each tree is carefully shaped throughout the growing season to train the branches and create the full, symmetrical look that so many families love. It’s a hands-on process that takes countless hours, patience, and a whole lot of walking through the fields—but it’s all worth it when you find your perfect tree.

🌲✂️ It’s officially Crazy Top Pine Season! ✂️🌲

This time of year we head out into the fields to give each and every tree a little extra attention. One by one, we work our way through the pines to top prune them.

The first step is finding the “leader”—the center-most branch at the very top of the Christmas tree. Once we’ve identified the leader, we carefully prune back the rest of the top growth.

Why do we do this? Pruning helps control the pines’ rapid growth and encourages new bud development, creating a fuller, fatter tree. By shaping both the top and the top whorl of branches, we help create that classic, symmetrical Christmas tree pyramid that families know and love.

It’s a lot of work, but every snip brings us one step closer to growing the perfect Christmas tree for your family’s holiday traditions! 🎄❤️
