🚩 Primary staging area: Legends Rec Plex / Veterans Park, 808 State Street
🚨 PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST AND THE REGISTRATION INFORMATION CAREFULLY! 🚨
There are IMPORTANT changes to parade-day staging, arrival times and locations this year.
Not all parade entries will report at the same time or in the same place.
Please make sure you know YOUR arrival time and staging location before parade day.
⏰ ARRIVAL & STAGING TIMES
⭐ 2:00 PM — DESIGNATED LEAD ENTRIES
Designated lead entries will report directly to State Street, entering State Street from the north, and will be positioned at the front of the parade lineup before large floats begin staging.
This group includes the VFW Commander, Grand Marshal, Junior Grand Marshal, Kingdom of Callaway Supper President and Boy Scouts.
🚗 2:00 PM — SINGLE VEHICLES, MOTORCYCLES & WALKERS
Report to the Rec Plex parking lot.
Volunteers will be stationed at both lot entrances.
If your single-vehicle parade entry, such as a tractor, must be transported on a flatbed or trailer, enter the Rec Plex lot and unload in the back portion of the parking lot closest to State Street. After unloading, move the parade vehicle into its staging position. The tow vehicle and flatbed/trailer may remain parked in that designated back portion of the lot.
Please unload promptly and follow volunteer directions so vehicles and trailers are positioned before the staging area fills.
No trailers or large float haulers should be parked in the active parade staging lanes.
🚛 2:30 PM — LARGE FLOATS & DECORATED TRAILERS
Large floats and decorated trailers will fill in BEHIND the designated lead entries on State Street.
Enter State Street FROM THE NORTH and travel SOUTH toward the parade start. As the lineup fills, it will wrap west onto E. 10th Street.
⚠️ DO NOT attempt to turn north onto State Street from the E. 8th Street/parade-start area.
Large floats and trailers must enter State Street from the north and follow volunteer directions into the lineup.
🚗 Candy Combine Parking / Staging
Participants specifically directed to the Candy Combine parking area should use the parking lot on the north side of E. 8th Street near the parade start.
🐴🚜 2:30 PM — HORSES, TRACTORS & TRAILERED EQUIPMENT
Unload and park in the large gravel lot off Richard Ault Drive and/or behind the Scout Cabin as space allows.
Horses: Must wear manure collection bags or have a designated person walking behind to immediately clean up manure.
🎺 2:30 PM — MARCHING BANDS
Band drop-off and staging will be on the grass on the East side of the Rec Plex.
🚌 BAND BUS PARKING
After dropping off marching band participants, buses should park along E. 7th Street near the Missouri School for the Deaf (MSD).
💡 3:00 PM — LIGHTED ENTRIES
⚠️ DO NOT join the regular lineup.
Line up in the Bush Elementary Parking Lot
🚒 3:00 PM — FIRST RESPONDERS
Stage on Hillcrest Street near E. 8th Street.
🎄 4:00 PM — PARADE BEGINS!
📍 A FEW MORE IMPORTANT NOTES
• Except for designated lead entries, lineup is first come, first served within each staging area.
• Judging numbers will be distributed during lineup and DO NOT determine parade position.
• Judges will be stationed on Court Street.
• Volunteers will be stationed throughout the staging and release areas and may adjust releases as needed for safety and parade flow.
• Please follow all volunteer directions.
• Most importantly — arrive at YOUR designated TIME AND LOCATION.
The parade will begin at State Street and E. 8th Street, travel through downtown Fulton and end at Memorial Park.
Parade End: At Memorial Park, do not stop in the roadway. Continue through, turn left or right, or enter the park parking lot as directed to avoid traffic backups and accidents.
📌 PLEASE REVIEW ALL MAPS AND INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.
Once you register, you will receive a CONFIRMATION EMAIL with additional parade instructions and links to the folders containing the lineup, staging, parking, unloading and parade-route information.
Please SAVE that confirmation email and READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION CAREFULLY before parade day.
🎅 REMINDER
Missouri’s Christmas City provides the official Santa Claus for the parade.
Parade entries may not include an additional person dressed as Santa Claus unless specifically approved in advance.
