Habitat ReStore - Fuquay-Varina Proceeds from the ReStores support Habitat’s mission to build safe, affordable homes in our community.

Donate • Shop • Volunteer | Proceeds from the Triangle ReStores support Habitat for Humanity's mission to build safe, affordable homes in Wake, Johnston, Orange, Durham and Franklin counties. The Habitat for Humanity ReStores are home improvement stores that sell new and used furniture, building materials, appliances and household goods at discounted prices. The ReStores also seek to be good stewards of the environment by diverting more than 5,000 tons of usable items from landfills annually.

Fuquay-Varina ReStore Treasure of the Month!

For the month August we are featuring a robotic lawn mower. One of our wonderful donors recently donated a used Worx Landroid Unmanned Mowing Vehicle. It works with a wire boundary base and mows up to 1/4 acre. The current price is 650🦌s and it goes down 20% on August 23. If you are looking for a machine to do your mowing for you stop by and see if this might be the perfect item for you.

The Fuquay-Varina ReStore Core Volunteer Spotlight!

For the month of July we will be spotlighting Ted Williams. Ted started volunteering at the Fuquay-Varina ReStore in December. He officially became a Core Volunteer in June. Ted volunteered many years ago a few times at one of our construction sites with some co-workers. He enjoys stocking and organizing the store, especially in the tools and outdoor areas. He finds it very interesting to see what donations come into the store and how quickly things turn over and items are sold. Because Ted enjoys home maintenance projects he likes to interact with customers who have projects of their own with problems to help solve.

Ted is a Raleigh area native, attended NC State and worked at Nortel Networks and Red Hat before deciding to take a "gap year" in 2026. He is enjoying quality time with his wife of 31 years as they stay active, ride motorcycles and get more involved in their community.

Ted likes being involved in the local community (like the Fuquay-Varina ReStore) in a way that has a larger impact on more people. He appreciates Greater Raleigh Habitat's commitment to support affordable housing the the Triangle area and he is happy to be a small part of it. We are thrilled that Ted has joined us as part of the Fuquay-Varina ReStore team and we appreciate all of the organized and problem solving energy that he has brought to the store.

Please make sure to say hi to Ted on your next visit to the store (as long as it is a Wednesday morning)!😀

Stop by the Fuquay-Varina ReStore and enter our raffle for the chance to win a very unique item. We are raffling off an antique large window that was saved from a local barn here in the Fuquay-Varina area. The window is from 1923 and has been appraised at a value around $7000. For our regular customers, you have been looking at this window behind our registers for many, many years. We felt that it was time to let this window find a great new home!

You can enter to win the window by making a $5 donation at the Fuquay-Varina ReStore location between July 27-August 3. You will receive raffle ticket for every $5 donated at the register. The more you tickets you purchase, the more chances you have to win! There is no limit!

All raffle entries will be accepted at the store only, and the winner will be drawn on August 5. All of your raffle donations will go towards our annual ReStore Round-Up House, helping build affordable housing right here in the Greater Raleigh area. Thank you for your support!
