As January comes to an end, I am taking this time to reflect and be thankful of the past two months.

In the past three years, my business, Made By Mice, has steadily grown. It has grown so much that I outgrew my space at home in 2024.
I began looking and quickly found an amazing space in Holly Springs and moved in December 1st.

I am thankful for Jim who has always supported my businesses.
I am thankful for Thomas and Sarah, who have cheered me on through successes as well as over the hurdles.

I am thankful for my friends and family that supported me.

I am thankful for dear friends that helped me move.

I am especially thankful for all of the people who have walked through my doors helping me grow my business.

I am thankful for those clients that become very dear friends.

So I would like to take some time to thank all of those who have helped me grow and open my doors to show off my amazing space.

I will be hosting an open house on February 8, 2025 from 1pm to 3pm.
I will have light, refreshments and sweet treats.
I would love for you to join me to see the next chapter in my businesses and to officially launch

Hey everyone! It has been a while, so let me introduce myself!

My name is Karen Lezzer and I am the owner of Made By Mice. I am a seamstress, tailor and dressmaker, and occasionally called a Fairy Godmother.

At a very young age I learned how to sew and it quickly turned from a hobby to make a new dress or top into a passion that transformed into this business. The inspiration for the company name derived from two particular pieces of my childhood; my favorite scene of the mice making Cinderella's pink dress for the ball, and the nickname that my grandmother gave me "Mouse."

Made By Mice came about from wanting to make fun and beautiful children's clothing. While that is something I take joy in creating, the list of additional creations has grown. From memory bears, pillows and t-shirt quilts to simple alterations, and special occasion alterations for proms, weddings and more. Made By Mice can take your ideas and make your dream dress come to life.
