What if the thing you’re praying for today is something God has already proven He can do?
Think about that.
How many times have you prayed for something through tears, and when God finally answered, you thought, “I will NEVER forget this.”
And yet… somewhere along the way, you did.
The miracle became normal.
The answered prayer became yesterday’s blessing.
And when the next valley came, you wondered, “God, are You going to come through for me?”
I’ve done it too.
I’ve opened my journals during seasons of doubt and found page after page of prayers I once desperately prayed—and beside them, evidence of God’s faithfulness.
Sometimes God doesn’t need to give us a new sign.
He just needs to remind us of the old ones.
God warned the Israelites in Deuteronomy 4:9, “Be careful… so you do not forget the things your eyes have seen.”
Don’t forget.
Because when we forget what God has already done, doubt gets louder.
So today, remember.
Remember the door He opened.
The protection you didn’t see coming.
The provision that came right on time.
The blessing you once begged Him for.
That car in your driveway.
That roof over your head.
That family around your table.
Some of the things you call “normal” today were once your prayers.
So before you ask, “God, will You do it?”
Look back.
He’s already given you reasons to trust Him.
And maybe that sunset is just another reminder:
“Don’t forget what I’ve already done.” ❤️
