As summer starts winding down, we want to give a little shout-out to Kaden, Karter, Makenli, Maggie & Grace, who spent their summer slinging syrup and serving up smiles with us at Funky Munky! ❤️🐵

These girls are heading into some exciting new chapters — college, a new school year, new adventures, and even a brand-new nursing career! 🎓🩺 We’re thankful they chose to spend their summer with us and we’re excited to see what the future holds for each of them. Good luck, girls! We know you’ll do great things! ❤️

July 4th, 2026! What a cool day! America turns 250 years old. ❤️🤍💙 We will be open 12:00- 6:00 tonight so our families can celebrate together.

How sweet is it that we have such amazing opportunities as Americans to do what we want? To celebrate, to own businesses, to have families and travel, to worship….even walking down the aisle of a busy grocery store sometimes I think about how lucky we all are to be able to walk in and purchase anything we need. We are so blessed!

🍧 Gainesville, we’ve missed you 🍧

This season has taken us a little longer to get going, and many of you have been asking where we’ve been 💞

Some of you may have missed it but Crystal has been battling Stage 3 breast cancer so I (big sister) have taken over the location for the season. My husband Kevin and I took her to MD Anderson Cancer Center last week and got home Monday. We received a great report on her tumor 🙌 but also found out she has two blood clots. 😳

If you know Crystal, you know she is tough as nails 💪💕
She’s taking it one day at a time and continuing to fight hard. I know she misses you all.

We’re hopeful for surgery toward the end of May, followed by radiation and recovery.

In the meantime, we’re easing back in and so excited to see our Gainesville family again. Your love and support means more than you know 💕 We hope to be open regular hours soon, I have a lot on my plate but will open every chance I get! Please just keep your eyes on our page! Xoxo! Tonya 💕
