Hubby and I still antique and I love to cook, repurpose and decorate our home! Come along on our travels with us to shop and also watch me cook !

Omgggg made pulled chicken(two breasts) today in crock pot with my homemade bone broth!! Then added the white barbecue sauce! I did cheat and grabbed coleslaw at Popeyes cause Momma was done in the kitchen today from the dr visit stress🙄 We also had corn on the cob, which not gonna lie will be on our plates in the summer probably 5 out of 7 dinners a week!! We both LOVE corn season!🌽🌽
You guys need to make the white barbecue sauce it was so good!! Next time I’ll try it in a potato salad or a slaw!

So I made fajitas last night for dinner and boy were they tasty! Today when we got home hubby knew I was stressing from Dr appt so he made us nachos with the leftovers!! Fun fact he never ever used to eat leftovers for many years of our marriage😡 He will now, he even chips in with making and rethinking what we can make out of things for lunch the next day!
These days food is too expensive to waste, so we try and use it all! I hate wasting food knowing there are people that don’t even have access to good food 🥲

Sorry the only road trip today is to the doctor for my 1 year recheck after back surgery! Not looking forward to it cause Dr’s make me anxious 😳 which raises my blood pressure (what a vicious cycle)🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
We will come back and work in the yard and enjoy the pool, since last summer I couldn’t with an open wound on my back 🙄 If you have ever had back surgery it’s no joke! This was my second one and I’ve had neck surgery from a car accident when was in my 20’s 🤦‍♀️ This is why I talk a lot maybe because I can’t do much with this awful body of mine 😂😂🤷‍♀️
Wish me luck🤞 I’m now bionic woman with screws and rods! Anyone remember that show??

Editing to say … I’m done we have officially broken up
(Me and the dr) lol I don’t see to see him anymore unless I have issues! Also can’t believe the girl didn’t even take my BP (cause she knows me after a year of coming there) I get all worked up and it’s high🤦‍♀️
She said I saw you on the chart for today and thought about you, but I told her don’t think about me😂😂
I’m good and on our way home 🙏

Let’s make some white barbecue sauce!
Super easy and you probably already have all the ingredients in your kitchen!
I’m gonna make pulled chicken sandwiches with it! I’ll keep ya posted on how it tastes! Recipe below 👇🏻👇🏻

The one stop we did make today was Yoder’s Country Market on Rt 29 in Madison county Va! Lots of great things in this store I could spend hours looking at stuff…. But hubby would have rung my cell asking what are you doing 🙄😂😂😂
