First up: One of my absolute favorite yarns: Six and Seven Fibers "Soybean" DK, 100% non-super wash merino, 245 yards. This yarn is unbelievably soft and feels like butter to knit with - definitely in my top 3 of DK yarns. Colorway is "Luna's Shoes". 3 available; 1 is wound but never used. HUDSON and WEST are going out of business, and their fabulous yarn "WELD" will no longer be available. Grab a sweater quantity now at our POP UP shop next weekend. Originally $17 each, now priced at only $10 a skein. Per Hudson and West, "Weld is made from a heathered blend of domestically-sourced 70% Merino and 30% Corriedale wool. Weld is a well-balanced three-ply yarn, with a slightly more energetic twist for strength and durability. It has a beautiful balance of stitch definition, bounce, and wooly, cohesive bloom that produces both beautiful stockinette fabrics and delicate lace, texture, and brioche, and is perfect for stranded colorwork. Weld blooms beautifully and easily knits up on larger needles; we like it on anywhere from a US 3 to a US 6 (3.25 to 4.00 mm).
Weld is spun and dyed at Mountain Meadow Wool in Buffalo, Wyoming."
