We think modern apps solve everything, but the 18th-century chatelaine was the ultimate life hack. It hooked to the waist to carry 🗡️, notebooks, and daily essentials. It was actually more functional than modern style. Why hunt through a black hole of a purse when you can clip your gear right to your hip?

I kind of dig these. Given that we are still fighting the fashion industry for pockets, maybe it's time to bring them back.
