NOTICINGS: Sunday in Paris

Sundays here move at their own pace. Moving through the city today, the contrast was sharp. Stillness at the café with a resting dog. Bright, quiet sunlight hitting the flowers in the park.

Then, I went to the Bourse de Commerce to see Fujiko Nakaya’s fog installation. It is incredible to watch. The fog rolls in and the heavy architecture simply disappears. A solid, defined room becomes entirely fluid in a matter of seconds.

It made me think about the objects we bring into our homes. Space is not static. Our environments—and the furniture within them—should be able to transform and breathe just as naturally.
