Spooktober Murder Mystery Dinner Party! Join us October 9th 7pm at Voss Media Board Game Cafe for our first of three Murder Mystery Dinner Parties. We will be hosting a special Dinner for this event, themed 3 course meal and a drink.

Under the cloak of light roleplaying and a dinner party with friends, players take on the roles of suspects after a murder has occurred, all attempting to expose which one of them is the murderer. The host prepares the setting and players can dress in costumes and playfully act their parts over hours of suspense and intrigue. All that is required is a sense of humor and a light-hearted approach toward deceit, larceny, s*x, and… murder.

In the Chicago Caper, you find yourself in the Chicago private club of S.P. Keasy, near the headquarters of notorious gangster “Hal” Coppone. Take up the part of one of these eight shady characters. I'm so excited for our Voss Media Board Game Cafe Spooktober Event. This year we are doing Escape Dracula's Castle as we celebrate our 4th year hosting this event. Here's how it works: you will be provided a map/punch card. Each event you attend during October earns you a punch on the card, every ten dollars spent also earns a punch. Once you hit a skull (every 20 punches), you can participate in a game that unlocks other rewards such as more entries, loot, products, food and discounts. At the end of the month you can turn in your map and receive tickets that you can use to enter four drawings: Hobby Supplies & Collectables, Trading Card Games & Supplies, Role Playing Games and Supplies, and Board Games. Over 5K in giveaways for this event. Rules for this event are simple: no purchase is necessary to join; just show up to events and participate for this reward. We will also have some amazing events this year.

Every Workshop Wednesday, Unboxing Thursday and Social Saturday will feature some of our favorite spooky games.

Every Thursday at 6:30 PM, starting the 8th: DCeased Zombicide

25th at 2pm: Blood Rage Valhalla Tournament
