The road was closed for just a while,
maneuvering Galesburg‘s downtown mile.
Pavement breaks, dust takes flight, finally it has been made just right.
Today is the day, our door swings wide, nostalgia and dreams side-by-side. Shelves are arranged with thoughtful care.

Burgess will be open 10-5:30 to celebrate our nations independence! Bring the family after the parade and enjoy browsing some historic artifacts. We will also be open from 12-5:30 on Sunday but need to close the store on MONDAY, July 6 due to construction. We're so glad to enjoy our country's freedom with you.

We are so sorry that Burgess Antique center will need to be closed Monday, June 29, one day only. Due to road construction and the water main shut off it would be best for customers, vendors and employees to visit after Monday. We will be OPEN for the busy Fourth of July weekend during regular hours. Thanks for your understanding.

Don’t let the orange cones keep you away! Burgess Antique Center is open for business this weekend but we’ve been lonely and hope to see you soon! If you turn onto the little side street, Macbeth, it will lead you right into our parking lot. Don’t worry about the guys in the yellow vests, just tell them you need to buy some antiques!
