After six years of owning a small shop in the Evia on Galveston Island neighborhood, I wanted to stop and reintroduce who we are if you’re new here.
I am a wife, mom of four teens (five if you count the fluffy one!) and small business owner. What started as a pop-up athleticwear shop, only open one weekend per month, has evolved into a permanent resort store open every day of the week.
Why is it a resort store? Well, we are lucky enough to live on Galveston Island, for starters. Our neighborhood feels like a coastal southern village where you can spend a whole day lallygagging or strolling. When you walk in we want it to feel like that hotel shop from your favorite vacation. Grab a hat for the beach, a workout set for day time, and a dinner dress for a night out. I want you to walk in thinking “what can I pack for the trip?”
I pick things I love to go in the shop, and hope you like them too.
I find inspiration in family, friends, music, magazines, travel, and creative, positive people. I gobble books up like candy, live for a concert, crave exercise, and love to dance. I like my coffee black, and my savvy b cold and my favorite food? Sandwiches.
At Collected we are living out the phrase “always packing for the trip”. It’s every day chic and simple classic style to help you feel and look put together.
