To our longtime customers, many of you with us since 1993, we want to take a moment to thank you and share how much our journey has evolved.

We began as a ship model gallery, then moved to the Strand serving both tourists and collectors. After Hurricane Ike in 2008, everything shifted, loosing hand crafted ship models was devastating and they were irreplaceable so we transitioned toward home décor. When COVID hit, many of our vendors closed or changed, making it difficult to source what we once carried. Later, with rising costs and tariffs, we made the decision to step away from lines that became unsustainable and focus more on companies that could move through these changes with us, while continuing our long standing effort to support American made goods whenever possible.

Over the years, we’ve carried hundreds of product lines and given many brands their start in our store. Today, the landscape has changed dramatically. Many of our longtime vendors have either gone out of business or become too costly to continue carrying, and home décor as we once knew it is no longer something we can reliably source.

Because of this, we’ve made the decision to shift direction once again. We understand this may not look like the store many of you first came to know, but change has always been part of our survival. Through every stage, your support and loyalty have helped keep us going.

Now, with Tina’s after 20 years behind us, we’re able to fully focus on The Admiralty and our new outdoor store. We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue serving you in a new way and remain committed to offering quality, thoughtful products and a great experience.

Tina's Celebrates 20 Years & Announces Retirement

With full hearts and deep gratitude, we celebrate 20 years on the Strand and begin Tina’s retirement.

What began in 2006 as a simple idea, to create a beautiful, welcoming space where women feel good, became something far more meaningful because of you. Your loyalty, your friendships, your trust in what we chose and why we chose it shaped this store every single day. We are deeply grateful.

We’ll spend the month of April celebrating this chapter with you, sharing the space, the pieces, and the memories. Storewide markdowns are underway, and we’re planning a Saturday, April 18, celebration we hope you’ll be part of. If you have a Tina’s gift card, we invite you to use it before our last day, April 30.

Tina’s Blend candles will continue to be available online and at www.tinasonthestrand.com or in person at The Admiralty. A new locally-owned boutique will be moving in, and we’re confident they will bring something fresh to our customers and the Strand.
