Just wanted to say, yall know I’ve always talked about how good the beef ribs or Dino ribs are at Koop’s BBQ Kitchen & Catering!! Man me and my buddy Steve Zirilli and Catherine Zirilli went on Saturday after fishing all morning, They are getting there ribs from another place and they are bigger and even better!! By far one of the best things you can order on the Island!!! I used a plastic fork to cut the meat easily!! Best meat on the Island!!! Going back for more on Wednesday!!! And can’t wait!!!! They are Massive!!!

Fished the Turning Point drum tournament yesterday with my Buddy Ron Harris. We caught a lot of fish and a great time like always! He drove all the way from Louisiana to fish this tournament, I think this maybe 6 years now, My brother in law Keith Hunter drove all the way from Arkansas to be my deckhand for this great event! We we so busy we didn’t take many pictures. My buddy Mike Athon holding up a nice Black drum with Mikey Michael Ames he got 3rd place with it!

Sam Mixon Memorial Ball High School Fishing club and Cody Dunn Outdoor Adventures goes fishing again!! Well we went to 91st fishing pier/ Jimmy’s on the pier. We had a little Cold front come through with some wind, the water temp just isn’t quite there yet, so fishing was a little slow, but we had fun, we caught Sheephead, Gafftop, Hardheads, croaker. And lost a couple, the water temp is warming up so in two weeks it should be a lot better! The kids are great and learning, Thanks Ball High School for trusting me with you amazing students!!

Ok I’m playing along.
Kinda one of my favorite catches, first day of snapper season a couple years ago, so I was fishing with a small fishing reel, with dead stinky bait and This Pretty big Amber J
ack hit, we all thought it was a Sandbar Shark, I climbed up to the bow of the boat and fought this thing for about 35 40 minutes!! The reel only had about 28 pounds of drag, and this is one of the hardest fighting fish in the gulf! When I got in in finally we were a couple miles from where I first hooked it! Fun fight!!
