A local gentleman and customer passed away yesterday. It really saddens me.

He didn’t have a lot of friends, and he had some mental health issues, but I hope he knows I was his friend. He was misunderstood and harmless.
I am really bothered that I didn’t check on him, or that someone else didn’t sooner.
Check on the vulnerable. Check on the elderly. And don’t judge someone if you don’t know them.
I will miss him. He had a kind smile. I pray for his family tonight, and I have a heavy heart for him.
He was my friend. I am sad, and I will remember him.

He taught me a lesson about being kind to someone just because. ❤️
