Hype post for Saturday - Champion's Archive at the Deerfield Card Show

Here's a small sample / sneak preview of what to expect.

Lots more pages to the binder of MTG singles - bringing a handful of pokemon singles as well. There's also lots of stuff buried in the boxes.

I'm also open to buying/trading TCG products of all sorts, so feel free to bring things with you for me to look at.

Come out to Deerfield and have a good time - 9am to 5pm this Saturday the 22nd of Feb.

Hope to see you all a week from today. Deerfield Card Show starts at 9am and ends at 5pm. Got some great deals on product and singles from many TCGs. It'll be cash only at the booth, so come prepared.

Champions,

As the final day of the Archive gets underway, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the wonderful patrons of the Archive who's support kept the shop open for a really fun year and a half. I'm glad I gave it a shot and glad that so many of you saw fit to support the effort. Unfortunately, not everything that's fun is practical. That said, I'm hopeful about the future of hobby gaming in our corner of the state and hope that you will all join me in putting in the effort to keep folks sitting across a table from each other, playing games and making friends. I continue to believe very fervently that the hobbies we are passionate about are more than a time sink, more than a bad investment - they are a light at the end of a bad work week, and remind us that the world is more about the relationships we have with others than it is the 8-5 grind. These hobbies are a way to bind us together - a glue that forces us to appreciate each other more and exclude each other less.

You get about 80 trips around the sun - life is too short to not play games. 🙂

Today is the last day of the Archive, which will close sometime late tonight, when the last Champion is out the door for the final time.

Champions! 3 days left of the Archive. Everything is 60% off, and there's still some furniture/fixtures left for sale.

Most things have sold, a few things are left unclaimed:

Champions! Shelves are emptying quickly but there's still lots of great stuff to come pick up on the store closing sale. Everything needs to be gone by our last day the 18th - that's just a week from tomorrow!

All these excellent hobby board games are HALF OFF their sticker price. There's still lots of options too for sleeves, deck boxes and dice to level up your tcg game.

Most of the furniture/fixtures/fittings have sold, but there's still a couple bookcases unclaimed, a few tables, a gaggle of chairs and two of the full table playmats.

Also as a reminder the playspace remains as always, free and open to all for one final week - hope to see you all out.
