🎆 Garden City Fireworks Notice 🎆
Residents and visitors are reminded that the discharge of fireworks is authorized in Garden City from July 1 through July 5, between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.
If you plan to celebrate with fireworks, please keep these safety tips in mind:
*Only use fireworks outdoors in a clear, open area away from buildings, vehicles, and dry vegetation.
*Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose nearby in case of fire or to safely extinguish used fireworks.
*Ensure children are always supervised by a responsible adult.
*Never attempt to relight a firework that does not ignite properly.
*Be considerate of your neighbors, pets, and others who may be sensitive to loud noises.
*Soak spent fireworks in water before disposing of them in the trash.
