One stolen e-bike. Countless acts of aloha. 🥹
When we shared that one of our team member’s e-bike had been stolen, we honestly weren’t expecting anything other than maybe a few extra eyes looking out for it.
We got many tips of where this thief may be hanging around, and physically went looking, but never found him or the ebike.
And then, something incredible happened.
One of our customers, Candice, reached out and said she had an e-bike sitting in her garage that her son, Izaiah, no longer used. Without hesitation, they wanted to gift it to our team member so he could get back and forth to work. 😭
As we got to know Candice, it made perfect sense. She shared that her Lola is from the Big Island, and you could truly feel that spirit of aloha in her family. She wasn’t looking for recognition or anything in return. She only had one request:
“When he no longer needs it, please pass it on to someone who needs it more.”
That hit us hard.😭😭😭
This wasn’t just about a bike. It was about kindness, community, and taking care of one another.🥹
So today, we want to give a huge mahalo to Candice and Izaiah. Your generosity reminded us that while there are people willing to take from others, there are far more people willing to give.
This is what aloha looks like.
*the sticker!!! .all.ways
We’ll make sure this bike helps someone who truly needs it today, and when its job is done, we’ll honor your wish and pay that kindness forward to the next person.
Mahalo from the bottom of our hearts. ❤️🤙🏽🌺
