Alright friends. I really really hate having to say this. PLEASE DO NOT DUMP BOOKS IN FRONT OF OUR SHOP AFTER HOURS!!!!! We caught you on camera dumping books at 8:30 this morning. We have rules and hours for donations for a reason. Yes we love your donations. We love accepting your books! It helps us keep our prices low and our inventory constantly flowing. But we’ve had many un kind friends lately with our rules. This is not fair to Marissa she has been working hard trying to be flexible with everyone on donations and buy backs. This person also used one of our brick books to stack their books on which made getting out our door very difficult. Please don’t do this. Please don’t be this person. Our donation hours are Tuesdays-Fridays 11-4. If you need something outside of those hours contact the shop and we can make special accommodations if needed. But this can’t happen anymore. ❤️📚😅

This week at Luminary Books!! ❤️📚
On Friday September 11th we have kid story time at 10:30 am. We will be reading two kids books and doing a little fall craft. This is totally free for any kiddos who want to come hang out with us. ❤️📚🍪🎨

Friday September 11th at 6pm we have our Friday night brick book paint party!! Our paint party starts at 6 pm. Seats are already filling up pretty quickly. It’s $20 per person to come and paint. We provide the paint, bricks, all the painting tools you could think of, and a little treat to enjoy while you paint. We also offer a raffle basket to our Friday paint parties. ❤️📚🎨🍪 it’ll be a night you won’t want to miss!! Message us to reserve your spots! ❤️📚🎨

Sunday September 13th we have our luminary books book club. They are meeting at 1 pm over at the patio in town. We are currently reading a cozy fall romance Bonfire and Bliss Bookstore and will be switching to a mystery for October. This book club is open to anyone who wants to join us!! ❤️📚

Monday September 14th we have our Night at Luminary Twilight night! We will be open from 6pm-9pm with all the best twilight merch, a blanket, candles, totes, the books and collectors copies and a raffle basket perfect for hoa hoa season. ❤️📚🧛‍♂️
