A little FunkeeTown update 💕
When FunkeeTown (The Junction) opened, we were a weekend shop—really, any free time we had, we were open. Earlier this year, we shifted to Saturdays only to see if concentrating our hours into one consistent day would make more sense.
Now we’re going to try something new. FunkeeTown will be open by appointment, along with special open days that we’ll announce here. We hear, “You’re never open!” But the reality is, we’ve tried different weekend schedules and simply haven’t seen enough foot traffic to justify continuing to give every Saturday to the shop. As a very small business, our time is limited—and FunkeeTown has been fortunate to have growing opportunities with markets, special events and pop-ups. We want to put our time where it makes the most sense while still keeping the shop available to anyone who wants to come get FUNKEE.
