Started in the 1980's in our wooden workshop, we put our love of creating beautiful, handmade, heirloom quality toys to work and quickly found that we filled a need for families across the county. People everywhere were looking for something different than the toys that were being sold in stores, something special that they would be proud to give for a baby shower gift or a birthday present. The Wooden Workshop is headquartered in Garner, NC and has proudly served the Triangle area for over 23 years. Looking for a style of doll furniture that we don't offer on our website? Contact us to discuss your ideas and to submit a special order. We will do our very best to accommodate your request. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions that you may have. A note about our products: we use white pine, yellow pine and burch plywood to create our furniture. All wooden doll furniture has a white painted finish unless otherwise noted. All transportation toys have a natural, unpainted finish. Quilts, canopies and other fabric items are cotton/poly blend which you may machine wash in cold water and place in the dryer on low heat.
