Some people come to work and, somewhere along the way, simply become family.

Hannah has been part of ours for 10 years. She spent many of those years out on the floor, so longtime customers may recognize her as one of the familiar faces of our store. These days, she keeps things running behind the scenes in the office — and if you order something from our website, Hannah is the girl taking care of you!

Hannah attended Walters State, loves to read, and is happiest spending time with her cats. But what we love most about Hannah is simply Hannah — the person we've gotten to work beside, laugh with, and grow with over the last decade.

Ten years is a lot of memories, a lot of changes, and a whole lot of life shared together. We're so grateful she's been here for all of it.

We love you, Hannah, and we're so lucky you're part of our little work family. Here's to 10 years and many more.

Today we’re introducing someone incredibly special—the heart behind Jonathan’s.

Her story here began all the way back in 1978, when she started working for John after being a teacher. She married Michael in April of 1982, and together they raised three children. She bought Jonathan’s from John Miller in 2005, and in 2012 she also purchased the Life is Good store here in Gatlinburg.
She truly is the best boss we could ever ask for. She makes Jonathan’s feel like home, and she’s always there whenever any of us need advice, encouragement, or simply someone to talk to. We’re incredibly lucky to work for her, but even luckier to call her family. We love you and appreciate you more than you know! ❤️

Meet Cindy! ❤️

Cindy has been with us for 15 years and is definitely the work mom around here. She’s always looking out for everyone, helping wherever she can, and somehow always manages to be happy, happy, happy! 

She’s been married to her husband Bill for 14 years, and when she’s not here keeping all of us in line, she has a huge family to keep up with — 5 kids, 13 grandkids, and 3 great-grandkids!

After 15 years, Cindy is a pretty big part of what makes this place feel like family, and we’re lucky to have her.

We thought it was time to introduce one of the people who has helped make Jonathan's what it is today. ❤️
Kim Abbott started working at Jonathan's back in 1980 as a floor person. Through years of hard work and dedication, she worked her way up and became Debbie's right-hand person and our Head Manager.
Outside of work, Kim is a proud mom of two, a Nana to five, and has been with her partner, Ray, for 21 years.
If you've ever shopped with us, chances are you've met Kim. She's always willing to help, answer questions, and make everyone feel welcome. We're so thankful for everything she does and couldn't imagine Jonathan's without her.

Watching young people chase their dreams is one of the best parts of what we do. Shaine worked alongside us before joining the U.S. Air Force, and today we're honored to celebrate him as a Pigeon Forge Hometown Hero. Thank you for your service and for making our community proud! 🇺🇸
